Class 67 Diesel Locomotive number 67 003 Arriva
Built between 1999 and 2000 to replace the ageing Class 47s, the Class 67 was introduced for mix freight duties, primarily for mail, parcel and travelling post office services. This highly detailed Hornby model (R3268) perfectly recreates this electric-diesel locomotive, right down to its Bo-Bo wheel configuration and authentic Arriva Train Wales livery. What's more, this model also features directional lighting, illuminating the way on those night rail journeys and adding another touch of realism to your layout.
The Class 67 also comes DCC ready, meaning it can be upgraded with a decoder module (sold separately) to be used on Hornby Digital track sets. This lets it operate independently on a track at the same time as another locomotive.
