Wright Eclipse 2, Celtic Buses, X75 Llanidloes
Celtic Travel dates back to the late 1940s when it started operating taxis and service routes. It was some time later that it acquired the name “Celtic Travel” and since then has become more of a “coach” business than a bus and taxi service.
In 2006 the Davies family took over the business and set about changing the number of vehicles as well as the direction of the Company. The livery was also changed in February 2008 to a more modern green & white combination including the Welsh flag and Prince of Wales feathers.
Celtic currently operates from the same garage premises in the centre of Llanidloes as it has since the 1960s. Celtic Travel is family-owned and family-run with family values working towards the same goal - to be known for being the “Best in the Business”.
